Bonnet House Museum & Gardens | Wedding Venue in Fort Lauderdale, Florida

I'm thrilled to whisk you away to the enchanting world of Bonnet House Museum & Gardens. This historical museum is nestled in the heart of Fort Lauderdale, FL. Imagine stepping into a tropical oasis spread across 35 acres, an estate where time seems to stand still.

A Symphony of Spaces

Bonnet House Museum & Gardens offers you a symphony of spaces to choose from. Exchange your vows in gardens adorned with native and exotic trees, vibrant orchids, and a serene lily pond. The veranda lawn, with its gentle sea breeze, whispers tales of timeless romance. Your wedding ceremony becomes a masterpiece framed by history, art, and nature.

A Stroll Through Time

While the estate's roots trace back thousands of years, Bonnet House itself was lovingly built in 1920. Hugh Taylor Birch, a man with a vision, purchased this paradise for his daughter and son-in-law, the artist Frederic Clay Bartlett. Bartlett's artistic legacy still weaves through the property, a testament to the union of art and nature.

The Art of Love

As art collectors, the couple's curated collection graces the museum's walls, providing an exquisite backdrop for your special day.

A Journey Through History

In 1983, this treasure trove was generously donated to the Florida Trust for Historic Preservation, a testament to its significance. Today, it stands proudly on the National Register of Historic Places.
